Influenza
Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It typically affects the nose, throat, and lungs, and spreads easily from person to person through droplets when an infected individual coughs, sneezes, or talks. Influenza outbreaks occur most commonly in the fall and winter seasons.
