Hypothermia
Hypothermia occurs when the body’s core temperature drops below 95°F (35°C), a dangerous condition that happens when the body loses heat faster than it can produce it. Prolonged exposure to cold environments, such as icy water, freezing weather, or inadequate shelter, can lead to hypothermia.
